  • name of the retrieved file and volume of transferred data, as well as the date and time of retrieval,
  • notification of successful retrieval,
  • requesting domain,
  • description of the type of the internet browser used and, if applicable, the operating system on your device, as well as the name of your access provider,
  • your browsing history and your default web log information.

Our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) clause 1, lit. f GDPR for collection of data is based on the following purposes: ensuring a smooth connection and convenient use of the website, evaluation of system security and stability, as well as other administrative purposes.

We never use the collected data in order to draw conclusions about your person.

b) When using our contact form

In case of questions of any kind, you can get in touch with us using the form provided on our website. The following minimum information is required for this: surname, given name, e-mail address, country and profession, so that we know who is sending the request and are able to respond. You can provide other information voluntarily.

Data for the purpose of contact with us is processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1), clause 1, lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data we collect for the use of the contact form will be automatically erased once your request has been addressed.

2. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data is not transferred to third parties for purposes other than those specified below.

We only pass on your data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to this (Art. 6 (1), clause 1, lit. a GDPR),
  • this is necessary for the processing of the contractual relationship with you (Art. 6 (1), lit. b GDPR),
  • there is a legal obligation to do so (Art. 6 (1), lit. c GDPR).
  • it is necessary to assert, enforce or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest that requires protection in the non-disclosure of your data (Art. 6 (1), clause 1, lit. f GDPR).

However, in these cases, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the required minimum.

Our data protection policy is in line with the applicable data protection regulations and the data are only processed in the Federal Republic of Germany/European Union. There is no transmission to third countries and such transmission is not intended.

3. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

On request, we will gladly inform you whether and which of your personal data are stored (Art. 15 GDPR), in particular about the purposes of processing, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data were or are disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if they were not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

In addition, you have the right to rectify any incorrectly collected personal data or to have incomplete personal data completed (Art. 16 GDPR).

Furthermore, you have the right to demand that we restrict the processing of your data, if the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 18 GDPR).

You have the right to receive personal data relating to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request their transfer to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR).

Furthermore, you have the “right to be forgotten”, meaning that you can ask us to erase your personal data, if the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 17 GDPR).

Regardless of this, your personal data will be deleted by us automatically once the purpose of data collection ceases to apply or the data processing was unlawful.

In accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw the consent given to us at any time. As a result of this, we will no longer have the right to process the data covered by this consent in the future.

In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, insofar as a right to object is provided by law. In case of an effective withdrawal, your personal data will also be erased by us automatically (Art. 21 GDPR).

4. DURATION OF DATA STORAGE

We will store the collected data for as long as needed to perform the contracts you have entered into with us, or until you exercise your right to erasure or your right to the transfer of your data to another company.

5. COOKIES

We use cookies on our website. These are small text files created automatically by your browser which are stored on your device when you visit our website. The cookie stores information resulting in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we immediately gain knowledge about your identity. The use of cookies serves firstly to make the use of what we offer more enjoyable for you.

Secondly, we use cookies to collect statistical information about the use of our website, to assess it and to optimise what we offer to you. These cookies enable us to automatically detect when you return to our website that you have already visited us. These cookies are deleted automatically after a defined period of time. 6. ONLINE MARKET / ANALYSIS TOOLS

The tracking measures we use are implemented on the basis of Art. 6 (1), clause 1, lit. f GDPR, Section 15 (3) TMG (Telemedia Act). By using the tracking measures, we would like to ensure demand-oriented design and continuous optimisation of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to obtain statistical information about the use of our website and in order to analyse and optimise our internet presence. These interests are considered legitimate within the definition of the above-mentioned regulation.

a) Google Analytics

For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimisation of our websites we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter: “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see also par. 5) are set. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as the browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (of the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), and the time of the server request, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to analyse the use of the website, prepare reports about website activities and provide other services associated with website use and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of this website. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Section 15 (3) TMG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1), lit. f GDPR. 

This information may also be transmitted to third parties, if this is prescribed by law or if third parties are contracted to process these data. Your IP address is never combined with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised so attribution is not possible (this is called IP masking).

The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user names (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs will be erased automatically after 14 months. After the retention period has expired, the data are erased automatically once a month.

If you are logged in to your Facebook account, your visit to our website can be associated directly with your profile by clicking on the plugin. Even if you do not have a profile, it cannot be ruled out that your IP address will be saved by Facebook.

The plugin content is transmitted by LinkedIn directly to your browser and integrated into the website by it. As a result, the information that you have visited our website is forwarded to LinkedIn.

If you are logged in to your LinkedIn account, the visit to our website can be directly linked to your profile when you click on the LinkedIn button. Even if you do not have a profile, it cannot be ruled out that your IP address will be saved by LinkedIn.
